What is the best site to use to download music?

  • What is the best site to use to download music? I just got a new computer so I need to a site or program I can use to download music. I don't have a problem paying a subscription fee for it (I've seen them for 9.99) but I don't want to have to pay per download. I looked at Rhapsody but was quickly annoyed by it when I read that if you sign up, use their "free Trial" but cancel before they start charging the fee they will charge you for everything you downloaded during the "free Trial." That is NOT free. That is "we will wait to charge you for a a little bit, but your paying either way!" and it completely turned me off. Is there another site that is safe to use, has qaulity downloads and doesn't charge for each song? I want music for two things-- to listen to it on my computer (finally got one that has decent speakers, and I like to listen while I write) and for my Ipod.
