Ipod touch 2g jailbreak cydia question?

  • I just jailbroke my ipod touch 2g and i went in to use cydia. i clicked hacker, devoloper or something like that. now when i try to search for packages they wont show up. like it doesnt let me download anything. i searched for probably the most popular app which is winterboard and it didnt even have that. please help

i think you were supposed ot click user...but anyway, go to Categories > Resources (or Repositories i forgot which) and find the source called "Steffwiz". after you download that source, go to Categories > Resources/Repositories (whichever one is correct) and select "All Sources". after downloading that, you should now find all those apps you want. hope this helped! btw, i forgot if this is how you do it because i did this so long ago.
