i might purchase this iPod touch: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001FA1NZK/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&seller= and if i buy it, would it be from AMazon the company or an ACTUAL person/seller?

Click the 246 used & new link and you will see all of the available sellers. Amazon is listed first meaning that Amazon would package and ship the item if you chose them as the seller. Otherwise there may be a better price from a different seller. The New and Used list will show all the merchants selling the item whereas the main page may sell it from Amazon, or from another merchant who has "won" the front-page spot.
