How do I fix a laggy iPod Classic?
-
I've done some searching on this issue... and honestly, I've found out that this has been an issue since 2008. So surely they've found a fix for this? I have an 80 iPod Classic, and it's really slow in terms of navigation... which is essentially why people buy iPods, right? My brother's iPod has less space left than my iPod and we both have the same exact type of iPod, except his is fast. There's no delay whatsoever... but my iPod is ridiculously slow. Has Apple released a fix for this issue? If so can someone direct me to it? Or explain to me how to fix this issue. It's really annoying and I've been ignoring it for far too long now. Thanks in advance.

Answer:
Try restoring it to the original software and see how it works. You might then be able to re-download the updates. I've got an iPod nano I've had since 2005 and it still works great.
