How to restore my ipod to factory settings?

  • HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP I installed cydia(jail broke) my ipod 4. I then set a password using android-lock xt or 4x. I made it very complicated and cannot remember it. When connected to Tunes, i clicked restore to factory settings. It gives me error code 3194(unknown error). It won't restore my Ipod. Should i bring it to and apple store? Any solutions? HELP

    i would go to a tech help center. the apple people may not help you because it voided their warrenty. Best Buy may help.

Well um I know you are looking for someone to solve this for you and fix it right up.. But that won't be me. Um I can only suggest researching on the Apple website(www.apple.com) Going to an Apple store... and calling 1(800) MYAPPLE. Apple has an online help, and phone help. If you jail broke it, try not to mention it if thy dont ask

Apple may not help you because of the fact that you jail broke it. I know that that voids the warranty. You shouldn't have jail broken it.

If its jailbroken you should probably do some research and figure out how to restore it without leaving any trace of a jailbreak.
