How can I fix my iPod Nano back to recovery at home?

  • Right now my iPod has a black screen(its stuck at the black screen, if I press something lie play it won't work.) I called the apple service and they said restart and iPod by pressing the menu button and the center button. Well I did that and it still doesn't work! Then they told me to recharge it for at least an hour. I did that and hold down the menu button and the center button again. It still doesn't work. A box is gonna show up within 48 hours so I can ship my iPod to them. How can I recover my iPod at home? Please explain EVERYTHING! This is the first time that happened to me and my iPod.

    Restore your iPod thats all i can think of.. but if iTunes wont recognize it then your screwed and youll need to get a new one

first try holding the menu and center button down for 10(ten) seconds. then let go of the menu button and quickly press and hold the back button until a green screen opens up. when that opens hold the menu and center button until the apple logo pops up hope it helps alxz1313

put it on hold and then take it off hold, and hold down the menu and center button for like 6 seconds
