Ipod touch water damage?

How to repair iPod Touch with water damage?? Help please?

Hi, My iPod touch 3rd gen now suffers from water damage :( I turned it on and the date/time is messed up it says 7:02 December 31. The slider won't slide and the touch screen doesn't sense my input. I cant do anything with it. How can I repair it? Should I take it to Best Buy or Radio Shack? Im good with computers but only semi-pro with apple products so be as technical as you wish. Also I should mention that my iPod touch is jail-broken. Thanks and any help would be appreciated.

Jail-broken. Apple won't touch it. Try to dry it out as best as you can in a warm place but leave it for about 48 hours giving all the components time to dry. You have done the worst thing which is to turn it on this may have 'buggered' the components inside. Go to an electronic store which isn't Apple and they may help you.
