What are the basic apps that come with the iPod touch 2g?

What iPod touch should I get?

  • I am looking for it to hold like 3 or 4 movies, like 1,500 songs, and like 50 apps. What iPod touch should I get? And should I wait for the iPod touch 3g to come out, or just get the 2g? Also, is the 3g going to have a camera?

    Hi, I would DEFINITELY wait until mid September for the next iPod touch. But before I go into that, I'd go for the 32GB model, since that's the only iPod to meet your demands with some room left over. Anyway, Apple never announces their products in advance, let alone provide hints, so all we have to rely on are rumors. But lately, these rumors have been pretty darn accurate! There have been a lot of these rumors describing the next iPod touch and iPod nano models, and I myself have been pretty accurate in the past, so here are my current predictions: -A 2 megapixel camera (I don't know if it will be able to take video, though...) -Probably a microphone, since on the current iPod touch, they included a voice recording application, and I don't think people will be expected to buy special headphones forever. -Possibly different color models with a plastic back, since I don't know how they could include a camera in a polished, metal enclosure. -Definitely a faster processor and oil-resistant screen like its big brother, the iPhone 3GS. :) Remember, this is just a month or so away, so I'd wait! :D I hope this helps.

Well i own a 16 gig ipod touch that has 1000 songs 2 movies and 45 apps and i only have around 4 gbs left so you would probably be better off getting a 32 gig ipod touch. and it is most like going to have a camera and will probably come out before christmas

It's anybody's guess what the next generation iPod touch will be like. But once it comes out, some people will be asking, "Should I wait for the next one?" At some point, the product either has what you want, and you should buy it, or it doesn't and you should move on to something that does. I have a first generation iPod 16GB. It holds significantly more than what you've described (although music file sizes, application file sizes and movie file sizes all differ, so your mileage may vary).

You should get the 8 gigabyte ipod touch. They already have the 3.0 firmware to download. Get the ipod touch 2g because the 3g wont come out until maybe 2011 or 2012.
