What happens if you select reset content and setting on your iPod touch?
-
I have someone's used iPod touch and I was wondering if selecting the reset content and setting button in the menu would restore it to its factory setting with none ofthe previous owners content on it ? As of now I can't download any new aps or songs because I don't know his apple ID password so would I be able to make a new one if I did that?

Answer:
Um...I would do that anyway and if it doesn't work call the customer service number.

If you reset the content and settings on the IPod, then yes. The passwords would be reset, along with all of the songs, pictures, apps, and videos being deleted.
