When will Apple come out with the third generation iPod touch?

i was wondering when apple will come out with the new iPod touch becuz im saving up for one and im almost there but i dont want to get it and then there will be a brand new one that i could of gotten for possibly cheaper and a better product. So should i wait a while or will it be to long to wait??????

i just got the second version but yes they already came out with it just its not in stores yet!!! be care ful when you first get oe they can be VERY confusing!
