Why won't my CD (Just burned music on from iTunes) work in my car CD player?

I burned 10 songs on a blanck maxwell CD-R (80min/700MB) from iTunes and when I put the CD in may car, the CD player doesn't recognize my CD? Under properties the songs are in MPEG Audio-4 format an opens with Windows Media Player....

Does your car CD player play MPEG -4's. Many only play MPEG-3 formats.

You need to make a redbook audio CD.
Most car players will only play Red Book Audio CDs, like the ones you purchase. When you burn a disc, make sure you select the make audio CD option and not the make a data disc or mp3 disc. More info at the source below. http://www.digital-scrapbooking-storage.com
