I deleted my iPad bookmarks and it deleted the bookmarks on my iPod too how can I get them back please help me?

I recently updated my iPad 2 and my iPod touch to the newest iOS 5.0.1 and I noticed that the bookmarks on my iPod had been copied onto my iPad and after deleting them off the iPad they were also taken off of my iPod how do I get them back please any help would be great thank you in advance
