HOW TO PUT PHOTOS ON AN IPOD TOUCH?

So on my laptop i made an album with all the photos i want to put on my ipod touch. I synced it to my ipod touch and it appeared in an album called 'photo library' and also another album with the same name i put it as on my laptop. i only want one album of the photos i want to put on? and it wont delete from ipod!
