Question about my itunes?

Question about "iTunes Plus" songs on iTunes?

  • I know that iTunes has started offering all of their songs now without the DRM (Digital Rights Management) that made you have to Authorize other computers to play the music you bought from iTunes. My question concerns the "iTunes Plus" songs that are now what you get on iTunes - do you still have to Authorize other computers to play those songs or can you give them to anyone without that Authorization? I'm assuming that since they no longer have the DRM, then the songs are yours to do with as you please, but I just wanted to confirm that with someone who knows for sure. Thanks for your help!

  • Answer:

you can do what you want, just like is you bought a cd and ripped it. that means, you can't just give or sell the files to people legally. but it's possible to do. just be aware though that apple has implemented a watermark technique so you can be traced if your files are discovered without a license.
