My itunes homesharing isn't showing up on my computer?

My iPod Isn't Showing Up In iTunes?

• Hey - I have an iTouch, 1st Gen, and it isnt showing up in iTunes. I have tried: Putting it in recovery mode [i tried to install the driver software, it couldn't find it] Plugged it in on a different computer [it worked on the other one, i had an older version, but then i updated it, and it worked] Restarting it, which i don't think make will make a difference and i even took it to an apple store, and they restored it. i was going to send it in, but then after i tried it on the other computer, after i updated itunes, and it worked, so its not really broken. any ideas?????? please help ... i need answers~!!! ASAP!!!

  it might be your computer try another usb port thats what it sounds like i had the same problem for a while then discovered my usb port was down. so yea maybe its not so much the Ipod the problem it could just be the usb port
