How do you turn off iPod Touch?

OK..I bought a new iPOD touch apple 3G and I cannot figure out how to turn it on and how to work it...?

  • I have a new iPod Apple Touch...the instructions are worthless and going online hasn't helped...I can't even figure out how to turn the thing?on...Can anyone help me?

    Before you can use it, you must register it. Download iTunes and install. Connect the iPod to the computer using the USB cable. Follow the instructions on screen. Try the Apple support site http://www.apple.com/support/ipodtouch/

try looking at the directions given when you boght it

try holding the on button (on top) until it turns on (once it is on you can just tap the top left button if the screen blacks out and your apps will all appear again)... you can also configure everything from itunes (music. apps)

You need to connect it to Itunes... Do you have it.... If So Plug it in and there is a manual guide. You didnot supply so much info though...
