iPod music?

My iPod deleted itself, but it still shows my music on iTunes?

  • I have an iPod Touch 3rd generation, 32 GB. Today, I was putting new music on my iPod, and for a couple times, the message "iPod cannot be synced; error:# " popped up but I ignored it because when I went to my recently added playlist tab on my iPod, the music showed up. Well, I safely disconnected my iPod and then I even turned my computer off, but when I went to listen to some music, in the app, it said, "no content available". So, I turned my computer back on and re-opened iTunes, and re-connected my iPod. When I connected it, the iPod showed all of the music under the "My iTouch" music tab, but in the app itself, there was no music. This has happened to me before but not in the same way. Before, it would get all of the music right when I plugged it into the computer, but now nothing's happening. What do I do? I don't have all of my music on my iTunes library, and I really don't wanna try to find the other 1000 songs I'm missing. Please help!

  • Answer:

Might be a corruption in your iPod's music database file. This usually gets corrected after you add at least one track to your device via iTunes. Try it out, it should fix the issue.
