What happens if you reset an iPod touch?

What happens when you reset a iPod touch?

  • So I recently got a used iPod touch from my friend and it has his old songs, apps etc. on it. I was wondering if by resetting the iPod I would be able to make my own iTunes account for it and add my own things and also what happens to the iPod by resetting it, will I be able to create a new iTunes or would I have to use his old one?

  • Answer:

All of you are WRONG! i reset my ipod because it was SOOO SLOW, and you can keep all your apps and photos and everything. Even the scores on your apps. I reset mine earlier this week so I would know.

It removes everything that isn't on your iTunes. Rawr is right but that's just because he had all the music and apps and settings backed up on his computer. Nothing will be on yours.

Ive never gotten a used iPod, but when you reset it, it deletes everything that was added on there and sets it back to the original state. Like when you buy it brand new. It just has the original stuff you can't delete. And you don't need an iPod to have an iTunes account, plus you can sync the iPod into/onto your iTunes. And you should be good. (:

EVERYTHING goes!
