How do you stop an ipod from sync?

IPOD TOUCH 2ND GENERATION....How do i make my ipod touch stop sync everytime i plug it in my comp?

  • I want my ipod 2 STOP sync everytime i plug it in....im in the middle of a song and it stops cuz of damn sync how do i make it so that i have 2 go press the sync button and it wont do sync by itself help plzzzz dont leave stupid comments....tnk

    When you plug it in, it should show up in the left menu thing, right? Click on your iPod, and then there should be something that says either "Have iTunes automatically sync my music" or something.. if that's checked, uncheck it. Sorry if this isn't dead on, I have a Nanochromatic, and I can't remember the menu exactly at the moment. Hope this helps. Have a great day. ;-) -Streetwiser
