IPod Touch headphone jack issue?

Headphone jack broken and stuck in ipod touch?

• A friend of mine has this ipod and he somehow managed to broken his headphone's jack and half of the pin is left in ipod, now if i managed to take this jack out this ipod will be mine and i really want a ipod, so please help me. And important thing want to tell you... I already tried super glue trick and it didn't worked, apple service centers are approximately 200 km away from my area and local repair persons not taking guarantee that they will be able to assemble ipod back after disabling, after all this i just left with only one hope that is yahoo answers because here are many people that will love to help me out.. Thanx in advance...

  I had this problem recently. However, I took mine to the Apple Store. After that, they told me there's not much you can do but to buy a new one or get a new warranty. If your's is covered, you should be ok with it. If not, then you're really screwed. Don't get me wrong, my warranty expired for my older one, and my dad ended up buying me a new one. Better than refurbished any day!
