How can I put songs onto my ipod without itunes?

ITunes help, how do I get ALL of the songs from my computer onto iTunes so I can put them on my ipod?

  • When I first downloaded iTunes, it asked me if I wanted it to put all the music from my computer onto iTunes, and I clicked 'yes'. Then it started to import songs to iTunes that were already on my computer, which is what I wanted. It was converting the songs to a certain format so they would work on iTunes. Then I accidentally clicked the exit button on the little window, and everything just stopped. I've tried going to the files on my computer and putting them on iTunes that way, but I can't find the songs that the thing was importing before I exited it. It's like some of the songs that I had on my computer disappeared, and I can't find their files. How do I find these files and put them on iTunes?? Any help is appreciated!! :) Thanks!!

you could just go to "computer" or "desktop" and search at the top for the files, then you might be able to drag them onto itunes, and if that dosent work, you could burn all the songs onto cd's then onto itunes ;)

Yes, you will need to search for them. iTunes probably converted them into its proprietary format, which is pretty much the same thing as mp3. It may have written them to another file while converting, and the interruption left them there (this is just a guess). Your mp3 songs will just drag and drop into iTunes playlists, and you can save them in that format from there. You might also explore the iTunes menu and look for "import music" so you can just do it all over.

restart itunes from tthe beginning. close itunes.. move the folder ..user/my documents/my music/ itunes to the desktop and rename it and delete the files inside it but keep the itunes music sub folder. restart itunes it then things its on a first start and will search and import again creating a new itunes folder, library and music folder...

I share a useful software It can import video, audio, photo files or folders, photos from PC to iPod without iTunes, backup files from iPod to PC, even transfer DVDs, any videos, any audios to iPod, then output those files to iPod directly, make iPhone ringtone as well More details http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A0oGk76RtzlLtnwApMFXNyoA?p=Aiseesoft+ipod+transfer&fr2=sb-top&fr=yfp-t-885&sao=0 Enjoy!
