Computer cd player will not work?

I burned a CD and it works on my computer but it doesn't work in the CD player in my car?

  • Does anybody know why this is? I burned it using iTunes. When I put the disc in my CD player in my car, it didn't show the track number or anything, the screen was just blank and it eventually spit the disc out. If you know why this is happening, is there any way to fix it? Thank you :)

  • Answer:

u might have burned it in mp3 format as a data disk. A way to tell if u did this is by the amount of songs that are burnt. If its more than 30 then theres a high probability that it was burnt as a data disk. Other wise all cd players play in the format that the disk is burnt per minute. I think 1 Cd is standard 80 minutes so depending how long the length of the song is is how many songs. The Mp3 Data disks can have like 100+ songs and u need a cd player that plays mp3 disks for it to work. All computers can read it with a cd drive.
