How do you put movies in your i-pod?

Does anyone know how to put movies on ipod touches?

  • okay, so i know how to put movies on my ipod if like a download a movie off of limewire or something, but is there any way i can rip a movie from a disk, for example, i want to put across the universe on my ipod, i own the movie so is there any way that if i put the movie in the computer that i can transfer it into my itunes and onto my ipod ??

    Well if you have saved to your computer then all you have to do is just drag it to iTunes and then it will be put in the movie tab in iTunes. And then it will work.

Download dvd decrypter, it is the best free dvd ripper you will find. This will allow you to rip any dvd to your hard drive as a .vob file. Follow the tutorial if you are having problems. Then download autogk and this should allow you to convert the movie to an .avi file which I am pretty sure you can then drag it into itunes. edit: You may beable to drag the .vob file directly to itunes and convert it there without using autogk

Download Videora from http://www.videora.com/ its a great piece of software for converting videos to iPod format including those from DVDs. There are instructions on hoe to get DVD to your iPod and they are very easy to follow and they include pictures and everything. I have been using it for around 5 months now and I would highly recommend it to anyone with an iPod.

Get your movies legally from the iTunes store and sync them to your iPod touch otherwise rip them with handbrake to h.264 and import the file into iTunes then select the file and choose the "convert selection for iPod/iPhone" then sync when done. handbrake http://handbrake.fr/?article=download
