How do I transfer songs from an Ipod to my computer?

  • I found an 8GB nano in the grocery store last week, I let the manager know that I found it and he told me to wait about a week and if nobody claims it, then I can keep it if I wanted. Surprisingly, I never had an Ipod before bc I felt like I would never use it. But this one has a small FM transmitter attached so I can play it in the car. If it wasn't for that, I'd probably just sell it. ******So this Ipod has over 1500 songs already on it...is there any way I can transfer these to be played on my computer? out of the 1500 songs, only 5 are purchased through Itunes******

    download Floola...thats the only way to get songs from an ipod onto a computer. http://www.floola.com/modules/wiwimod/index.php?page=download if you already have songs on your computer and want them on your ipod, then itunes will be fine. otherwise, if you plug that ipod into your computer and press sync, everything on the ipod will get erased. but either way, you need a USB cable that connects ipods to computers

wow your lucky Ok so plug in your ipod into your computer then enable disk mode. then go to my computer and click on your ipod. theres this hidden folder called "ipod_control". to view it, go to tools, then folder options and select view. mark the one that says show hidden folders and files. then you'll see the ipod_control folder. click on it then it'll show music. so then, just click on the folders inside and copy the music to your itunes or some folder. now you get 1500 of them! whoo!

all you do is get the songs that you want and get a usb cable plug it in and make sure you downloaded itunes. After that it should pop up then u drag the songs into itunes and you click sync.
