Can the iPod catch a virus?

Omg, does my ipod have a virus?!?

  • Alrighty, earlier today i was on a website that I always visit. Suddenly, I page appeared that had a downloading bar on it, saying that it was going to download a virus or malware unto my computer, we have NORTON 360 on our comp (a program to fight viruses) and it kept pausing the screen talling me my computer was at risk for a virus and I needed to close the screen quickly. But I couldn't exit out the screen when the pop up appered, so i closed it, but when i closed it, the download started again. I managed to exit beofre it completed, so I really was freaking out at this time I scanned my computer and there wass no virus detection on it. Im not usre if that was a hidden virus while my ipod wuz plugged in that attachted itself but when i plugged my ipod in, it said it was corrupted i plugged it inagain and it wrkd. what happened???

    sigh go to i tunes wipe ur i pod clean (no songs nothin) and satrt over. just becuz ur i pod is messed up dosnt meen i tunes is... it tlake max 15 min btw if that dosnt work talk to an apple employee or somthin

If you have videos on your ipod like MPEG, and you get your videos off Limewire. Good chance the MPEG had a virus in it, and got into your computer. Corrupting it.
