How do i get songs from my computer to my ipod?

  • how do i get songs from my computer to my ipod? whenever i just plug my ipod touch into the computer it doesn't give me the option if i want to sync to my ipod, is there any other way? i have SO many songs on my itunes account on my computer and i don't know how to get them onto my ipod, please help?

    iTunes is the program that you use to manage content on your iPod touch. It can be configured to act the way you choose: to automatically sync, to only allow manual management, to sync only certain playlists and apps, etc. Connect your iPod. Then launch iTunes (if it doesn't launch automatically -- that's one of the options you can set). Your iPod should appear in the left panel along with the Store and your iTunes library contents. Click on it and select the Summary page. You should have a variety of options there. Select those that allow you to work the way you want. If you want to manually manage your content, it's now just a matter of highlighting songs in iTunes and dragging them to the iPod icon in the left panel. If you want to delete content from the iPod, simply select it from the list and press the Delete key.
