Are apps for the Itouch/Iphone free?

  • No one has given me a straight answer yet, are the apps on a NON JAILBROKEN ipod touch or iphone free? If so how much are they usually? Do you have to pay monthly for them? If you jailbreak your itouch, will you get free apps? Thanx :)

    Some apps are free. Most apps that cost money are between 1-5 dollars one-time purchase. If you jailbreak an itouch apps are free. But jail breaking it voids any warranty you have on it.

there are very few month by month apps but the ones that are dont go by itunes or apples data stuff (like rhapsody, netflix) jailbreaking will get you most paid apps free with the exception of a few with higher secruity. but dev tools if you can use them will fix those

There's alot of apps that are free and alot that arnt but if u jail break an iPod u can get most of them free but not all

Jailbreaking will let you add unlimited backgrounds, icons, and use third party apps.

I dont know about jailbreaking it. But there are some apps that are free normally ashl the demos. They tell you the price before you download it. It can range from one dollar to ten.
