What does it mean to jailbreak an Ipod Touch?

    It means allowing software (not regulated by Apple or the AppStore) to run on an iPod touch. I say it is as they tend to allow the iPod to do more than it was meant to. If wrongly done you could risk 'bricking' it. (as in not able to work anymore).

it's a hack, it allows you to browse the internet,and or put programs that arent originally available for an ipod. it also voids your warranty. ive done it and havent regretted yet but it all depends.

Its like installing an update which isnt supported by apple and might ruin ur ipod but u can get games and other cool things my brother jailbreaked his ipod touch its working fine but i dont recommend it
