How can i update iPod touch to 3.0?

10POINTS! my ipod touch frozed after restoring?

• ill tell u EVERYTHING yesterday , i wanted to jailbreak so i restored but before i was going to add jailbreak, i noticed , my youtube couldnt connect somehow but i forgot to restore again and just added the new SPIRIT with 3.1.3 version then i rememberd that i youtube doesnt work so i went on general and clicked "erase everything and all setting" (something like that...) and then it was restoring and when it finished , it didnt show the sign connect to usb thing and it rather showed the apple sign and a loading circle frozen. i tried rebooting for like 30 time and still didnt work. so i searched on youtube and found that i had to do DFU . so i held the home button and start button and let the start button off and held the home button then the usb sign thing came up so i connected , and then it POPED up when i pressed restore and said "ipod software update server could not be contacted " "make sure your network settings are corrected and your network connection is active , or try again later" and then after few minutes , it went off by itself and i rebooted and stuff and then the usb picture didnt pop-up this time on my ipod touch screen , it was just plain black (like as if its off) , i clicked the home button but no light showed , which i think it ment off... SO HELP! i even downloaded downgrade firmware and it seems it doesnt work. and my ipod status saids N/A on itune (name : ipod , Capacity : N/A , software : N/A , serial number : N/A) how can i fix it ? i REALLY will give u 10 points and i need reply ASAP! does this mean my ipod got screwed from jailbreak? and what if i take my ipod to apple store? i remember last summer , the apple store people said "we wont fix your ipod if its broken by jailbreak" so i want to know if its broken by jailbreak. and IF i take it to apple store and they ask me if i jailbreak or if they find out i jailbroked or brake by jailbreak , will they like SEW me ? for downloading jailbreak? PLEASE ANSWER ALL!!!!! thanks!

  ok so put the itouch in the computer and go to my computer and right click and click format this will put this back to factory setting will delete all files then after it formats go to itunes and click tour ipod it should be like you just bought it from the retail store if not email me at [email protected]
