How do i get my music from ipod to play onto Itunes?

How do i get my music?

  • I have iTunes and my music was on a file in my computer was deleted, so now iTunes cannot locate the song, when i want to play it, it gives me a little exclamation mark. However all the music is on my iPod. How can i get my music form my iPod back into iTunes. I cant just sync it because it will delete the music from the iPod. I know before iTunes upgraded i could log into a different iTunes and my music would be there and i could sync my iPod from there, but it wont work. What do i do? P.S. there's over 2000 songs so i want a way that wont have me renaming each and every song especially since i don't know the titles to most of them.

  • Answer:

if you plug your ipod into a computer that doesn't have itunes, or just set itunes not to open when you plug in your ipod, you can use the menu windows brings up whenever you plug in something with memory and click open device to view files. if it doesn't come up just find your ipod clicking computer in the start menu. get the songs, copy them to your computer, and add them to itunes. and you can select multiple songs at once from a menue
