Will Apple Store engrave my iPod?

My ipod earphones broke, would the Apple store replace them for free?

  • my friend told me he got new earphones from Apple because his original pair broke. is this true? i have an ipod touch that i got in december (so no more warranty on the ipod). both earbuds are fully intact but when i plug it into my ipod, no sound comes out. if i plug my earphones into my ipod and move the tip around (the tip as in the end that goes into the ipod) i can hear parts of my song for a couple seconds. since an internal cord broke does that mean Apple will give me free earphones?

  • Answer:

It depends on the person you get on the phone and how nice they're feeling. Apple generally has really good support. I'd give it a try. Just because your warranty expired doesn't mean you won't get it. Worse case scenario, they tell you your warranty expired and they won't do it.

nope u gotta buy another one sorry ):

The warranty lasts a full year. Take it on down and they'll probably just hand you a new pair. They did for me!

no i doubt it

The warranty covers manufacturer's defects for one year. If it's not a manufacturer's defect and/or the one year is over, the answer is no.

No they wont.
