How to flush to disk without sync?

What does it mean, when trying to sync ipod nano: "Ipod cannot be synced. The required disk cannot be found'?

• It says this when i go into ITunes and hit the "sync Ipod' button.

  Synchronizing means that you are matching the digital media on your computer to your iPod. The part of the computer your ipod is syncing to is your hard drive most likely. another name for Hard drive is a hard disk, because it is usually a bunch of magnetic disks that it read and writes info to. the issue probably is that the path that itunes has to sync your ipod to is a hard drive that does not exist, or has been removed. If i am correct, you may just have to reinstall itunes and reformat your ipod. Hope this helps
