Can I download all my itunes media to another computer?

Music from Windows Media Player to iTunes?

  • I just got an iPod and I'm trying to download music onto it but all my songs are on Windows Media Player, not iTunes. I've got a music file that i want to put on iTunes and i know its all mp3 format but it won't go on for some reason. I've tryed "Add file to Library", "Add folder to Library", and "import" on iTunes but none of them do anthing. How do you get music that's already on your computer onto iTunes?

you may find an answer here: http://mailbox.allthingsd.com/20081015/transferring-a-windows-media-music-file-to-itunes/ make sure all your music is in the '(my) music' folder, and when you go to itunes go to file-import folder-and import '(my) music' folder -make sure your version of windows media player and itunes are up to date -it might take a while for itunes to convert the music files hope it helps Mr. M
