How do you get internet on a ipod touch?

  • Is there something special you have to get to have internet because I have a laptop so I have like a little box thingy that makes my whole house wireless internet (im sorry idk what its called). SO would I just already have like the wifi type thing, would the ipod touch work in my house for internet. Also what other things do you need for an ipod touch because idk and I want to get it for it. is there other things that i need for my ipod to work to its full potential, Thanks soo much!

    (thre wifi thing is called a router) 1)go to settings 2) click the wifi source that's yours 3) wait for a check mark to appear and a wifi symbol to appear at the top 4) click the home button and go to safari 5) you should be connected to the internet For the ipod accesories I would get a nice cover and headphones with remote and a mic. If you have any problems after this, go to the apple store and they'll help you

no u have everything u need, if u have the box thingy (its called a router) then ur all good.

just go to settings then wifi and select a service

Good you have a Wi-Fi router so you'll be fine

Since you already have wireless internet in your house, go to Settings in your i-Pod touch, tap on Wi-Fi and it should give you the networks that are available. You might have to put in the password, which would be the same one you use for you laptop. Once you do this it will automatically connect to your wireless network when you turn it on.

Go to settings and then selection connection. See which name shows up that is the ESSID of your router and then enter the WEP key for the password to use that connection.
