New computer, need to get songs from Ipod to new Itunes?
-
Ok, so I had Itunes before and my old hard drive crashed. Now on my new hard drive, I just installed Itunes again. I set it so it wouldn't automatically sync when you plug a device in, but it did anyway and nearly erased all my songs before I unplugged it. How do I get all the songs from my ipod back onto Itunes without it just syncing my Ipod and erasing everything. And none of the songs on there were purchased from Itunes, they're all from CD's and outside sources, so I can't redownload them from Itunes. I don't know how to get my songs back on there without it deleting. I went from 699 songs, to 645 songs, It deleting like 50 songs before I unplugged it

The most convenient and secure way is to use an iPod-to-computer transfer program to help you, like this handy one called Tansee iPod Transfer http://www.gutensoft.com/Utilities/Tansee-iPod-Transfer.htm Many of my friends are using it for its easy and safe transfer. The whole process goes as follows: Firstly install this program on your computer. When you plug your iPod to the computer, this program will instantly display all songs and videos on the iPod.You simply select what you wish to transfer and click "Copy" button. Done. All your selected files will be copied to your computer safely. Now you can easily add those songs and videos to your iTunes library. See detailed guide. More importantly, this won't overwrite any original files on your iPod. And all song names are preserved. Here is step-by-step guide on the whole process: http://gutensoft.com/Guide/How-to-transfer-songs-and-videos-from-ipod-to-computer.htm Best luck! You can also search more other ways at http://ask.com
I recommend AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer which can transfer your iPod and iPhone music, video, playlist, photos back to computer and iTunes. If you own more than one iPods, AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer can simultaneously manage all the iPods in the same interface, you may transfer files among these iPods by drag-and-drop. Hope it helps!
