What are the best free apps/games for the iPod touch?

I have multiple questions about Apple iPod touch 3.5" 64GB MP3 / MP4 Player?

  • I went to the Apple website and tried to email them, but they require me to provide a serial number, and there are things I want to ask before I buy the product. I don't want to create an account for Apple just to use a serial number that's provided, and so I decided to ask my questions on Yahoo Answers in hopes that someone has this modle ipod touch and the newest itunes and can give me some answers. My questions about this ipod is concerning music and ICloud. If I were to have a lot of music on my computer, and put it on my ipod, but then decide to delete the music off my computer, can I still have that music on my ipod without the ICloud automatically taking the music off? And if I decide to add more music to the ipod, but don't want the music that I deleted off my computer that's now on the ipod to be overwrited, can that be done? Because I'm looking at a 64GB ipod, that way I can build on my music collection over time. I have a cheap laptop and store all my music on flashdrives. Now I know in the past, with ipods they use itunes and once you delete the music off of itunes and go to recharge your ipod, the music is also then deleted off the ipod. It's impractical to have even 4GB of music on my laptop because it will tremendisly slow down my computer. Please don't ask me how much music I have. All I want to know is if paying the 300 some dollars for the ipod will be worth it. I know it has a lot of cool features, and I don't want to know about that. I just need to know if it's possible to transfer my music little by little to my ipod, without keeping it permantly on my computer and without it being deleted off my ipod. Also, one last quick question. Is it possible with the new itunes and this new ipod to group certain playlists into categories? I know I've always wanted to do that on an ipod, that way I don't have a million different playlists and I can keep playlists seperated by genre. That's not as important though as my first question. Please do NOT direct me to community forums, product reviews, or give me the apple website. I just need someone to give me a straight answer. Thanks so much for your time in reading this and any help is appreceiated.

Hiya. No sorry, you can't put music little by little on. Otherwise you could just go around to all your friends and synch their music! Then nobody would buy music every again (lol -_- 'cuz it's not like people download songs /sarcasm). Anywho, what you could do is put all your music on the iCloud, and synch to that. However, from the sounds of how much music you have, I have a feeling you'll probably hit the limit of the iCloud, at which time you will have to delete songs from it, and THAT will make you lose those songs. Or....what you could do is jailbreak your iPod and use cyberduck, winscp ssh, w/e you want, to physically get into the folders of the iPod and add music that way. The problem with this is that, the iPod names the songs retardedly (or perhaps smartly, to stop ppl like me) in ways such as AZ3, BW1; like no way to know what song is what. So if you want to take off a song, well..good luck finding it. There are also programs that allow you to do this however the one I used to use no longer works, so you'll have to search for it. Neverminds, I found one: http://www.copytrans.net/ Just look up on google: ipod to computer and you'll get like 10000000 hits.
