How do you put music on an ipod nano?

First go to www.itunes.com. You will be taken to the page where you can download itunes (it's absolutely free). Click 'iTunes 9 Free Download'. Follow the instructions and click 'Download Now'. iTunes will be put onto your computer. After it has completed installation, you can create an account with iTunes. To do so, click Store (up near 'file')> create account> follow the instructions. Once you complete that, you will need to purchase an iTunes Gift Card (sold practically everywhere) and put it on iTunes (click 'redeem' under quick links on the iTunes home page and enter in the code you find on the back of the card). You have to download iTunes, then import the music into iTunes, and then sync you iPod.

i use lime wire, type in song then download it. it should if not mistaken automatically open i tunes and put the song in your library from lime wire. then at the the i tunes library screen drag it to your i pod and boooooom!
