What is a cheap cable service provider?

What cable service provider do you use or which one do you think is the best?

  • im movin out and i was tryin to find a good cable service provider that isnt too expensive even after the first few months because some are really low priced at first but then the price gets higher because the first few months' price was just to get you to sign a contract and get the service thinkin it was cheap......at least i know of that happenin in quite a few circumstances haha

You usually only have 1 choice for cable so examine their offerings carefully. I was getting "Basic" cable with HD channels and a DVR for about $29/month with no contract. Some of the internet-based services like AT&T UVerse can be good. Try to avoid 2-year contracts and avoid bundling your phone service or you may have issues if you cancel. I have been a Dish subscriber for many years and I am happy with their technology and service. But both Dish and Direct want mutli-year commitments.
