How to watch 3D movies I have downloaded on to computer on my 3D TV in full quality.?

I have a Samsung D6600 3D tv and I want to watch 3D movies I download on my laptop on the TV. I cannot connect my laptop (where the movies are stored) to the the TV because it is not a 3D laptop and it does not have a HDMI port. What can I do to watch 3D movies I have downloaded on the TV? Can I use an external hard drive, a media player? But the hard drive has a USB output and wont be the best quality like using a HDMI 1.4 cable? Or can I get a media player and connect it to the TV on a wireless network? I am so confused with these usb wires, HDMI 1.3 and 1.4..... any help will be much appreciated.

If you search on ebay for '3d media player' there are many products which allow you to copy your movies onto them and then play them via a hdmi 1.4 cable onto your tv. That would be the easiest way.
