• SONY KE37XS910, assembled 2003 purchased 2004 floor model, usage history, constantly. Problem description – Noticed picture quality gradually decreasing right before the panel went black. Thin transparent horizontal lines about ¾ of a inch apart from each other running from top to bottom with wavy lines of color running in the background then panel went black but still had sound. Try to turn back on but still no picture with sound with green power LED flashing six times then stays solid. Left TV off for a day then tried again. Turn set on, six flashes from LED and on two occasions panel attempted to light but went black within 5 to 10 seconds but still has sound. THINGS I HAVE TRIED- located service manual off of internet for 16.99 it has total brake down diagrams of unit with board locations with schematics and list of electrical components to all boards except power supply board? Located for free on internet Pdp01 Plasma TV training Manual for Sony KE37XS910 troubleshooting guide, gives basic description on how plasmas work with troubleshooting flow chart of different problem scenarios check flow chart. The only test equipment I have is a volt meter. Followed trouble flow charts with all pointing at the DE2 board. Ordered DE2 board replaced and still no help. All diagnostic remedies suggest replacing DE2, DIC, PSU, LOGIC, K board or X-SUS board. The mention of X-SUS board refers to eight blinks scenario on red standby LED. After further hours of reading different internet web sites I am hearing that it is the Y-SUS board. The TV is not priming, it is either not capable or it has gone into protection mode. Removed shields to inspect Y-SUS for signs of IC burnt or cracked appearance due to overheating all look fine. I am leaning towards problem being the Y-SUS board or LOGIC board or POWER SUPPLY board. PLEASE SOMEONE POINT ME TO THE RIGHT BOARD TO REPLACE.
