How can I connect Wireless Headphones to my LG TV?

Improve the sound quality of headphones when connected to TV through headphone jack?

  • Ok so heres the problem: Whenever I connect my headphones to my TV through the headphone jack the sound is always "scratchy". This usaully happens when there is background music playing when I'm playing on my video game consoles. I have tried to eliminate this problem by reducing the treble and base of my TV but the sound is still "sractchy". I have even used several other headphones ranging from in ear headphones to normal heaphones but the problem still exists. I even reduced the volume of my TV but then I have to set it too low which means I can't even hear anything properly and the scratchy sound is still there. Is there any way I can fix the "sratchy" noise problem? Or is the a way to connect headphones directly to a PS3 or PS2 so that the "scratchy" sound is gone while using headphones? My TV is a LG M227WDP. I got it back in 2010 so it's fairy new. http://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-M227WDP-22-inch-1080p-Monitor/dp/B001NEI7E8/ref=tag_stp_s2_edpp_url
