Can I get HD quality through my PC input on my TV?

What is the best way to get HD PC output on an HD TV?

I, personally, think this a simple question, but not entirely sure. So I want to use my HD Samsung TV as another monitor, essentially. The TV has HDMI outputs, and so does my PC (desktop). Is it as simple as plugging the HDMI cable from my PC to the TV and selecting the TV as my monitor in Control Panel? If not, how can I get HD video/"stuff" on my TV directly from my PC?

Plug it in & enjoy. It really is as simple as you imagine. Depending on your video card, you may not be able to get the image on both screens at once, but that is a minor consideration.
