How many channels do you have in your cable?

How can i change channels on my tv without chaning channels with my cable box reason is too many buttons and?

  • my tv remote i always use is much more easyer to use and less complicated. on the remote for the cable box i frequently hit a button next to the button to change channels. i have a samsung flat screen tv about 3 years old.With the samsung i change the channels 3,4,5,6 and so on. but all i get are nothing but black emty screens. i have tried everything in my owners mannual but nothing has worked so far.The samsung is both analog and digital. i was hopeing some one at yahoo answers might have a very similar problem and has solved it.

you have to install the digital channels with a scan you may also need a bigger antenna as the digital signals are weaker, buy a universal remote control that can control 4 or 5 items but make sure it is compatible with ALL yours before you buy
