How do I cut wind noise down on my Camera?
-
I just got a contour HD camera for my motorcycle and after using it for the first time I ran into a serious problem. The camera works great but the one thing that's wrong is wind noise. If I go faster than say, 10 miles an hour all you can hear is this high pitch whistling noise and a bunch of wind buffeting. It's so loud you can't hear the bike at all (and my bike is REALLY loud) Anybody know if there's some trick I can do to protect the internal mic from all that wind noise? lemme know.

Answer:
Locate where the microphone is and cover it with a piece of thin foam rubber this will help stop the wind noise. Another problem is if your bike is very loud you might be exceeding the capabilities of the microphone. TOM
