Which is the best waterproof/tough compact digital camera?

I'm looking for a decent waterproof camera and so far I'm leaning towards one of the Olympus Tough series but from looking around the internet I've found some very mixed reviews about them. Has anyone got any solid advice?

GOPRO. It's waterproof, durable, HD, and wide angle. It's mounts to anything and everything. Takes awesome video and just as awesome pictures.
