I need help with my camera, please.

I need help pricing this camera bundle? please read/skim all the way through.?

• I purchased a camera bundle on ebay about 2/3 years ago maybe.. im not sure exactly but i havent used it all too often. All the items all together wer purchased for $800 which is what the camera itself is worth so i got a pretty good deal. Between then and now The camera has seen some wear and tear but nothing drastic until about a month ago. The top plastic... thing fell out and now theres a black ring around all the view.(i obviously dont know much about cameras like this;another reason to sell it). I Am planning on asking my older step brother who has taken photography classes and works for a magazine to look at it and fix it possibly. What i plan on selling is: Canon Rebel XT Tamron Tele-macro 75-300mm Telescope lens view ranges from 35-500 ft. (came with the bundle haha im no stalker) ^ goes with 2x converter 2 memory cards 1 battery charger + battery case for lenses Now even if the camera was broken previously(or if it couldnt be repaired by myself) would it be enough to purchase a smaller camera? specifically a Canon powershot sx30 which is about $300-$500 The reason behind this is because being a teenager i go to a lot of concerts and i dont do anything "studio" like so a smaller camera would be more suitable to my lifestyle. Thank you! oh yea and... Im talking about selling ALL of the following things with it and getting it fixed. so Its not like im just selling the body

  The camera if broken shouldn't cost more than a hundred dollars, even if it had all of those accessories with it.
