Not happy with Nikon L110, What else is there?

I wanted a High-end Advance Digital Camera. I got the Nikon L110 but I been having some problems so I will return it. Any suggestions on Advance digital cameras like the Nikon l110? I want to stay in between NIKON and CANON. I'm interested in high image quality. I appreciate it.

What ARE your problems with it? Can you link to a photo that has those problems? I'm asking this because so much of the time it is actually user error, NOT the camera. If that is the case, then the next camera won't make you happy either, but a bit of learning WOULD.
