Is there a wireless mic that is compatible with the flip camera?

Wireless camera mic buzzing?

  • I recently purchased some wireless cameras that connect to a receiver. The receiver then connects to my pc through a vcr to dvd recorder using composite connections. The wireless mic on the cameras generate constant buzzing and makes it very hard to hear. I've heard that line noise can cause this buzzing I am not sure what line would cause the buzzing. The power adapter to the camera? Or the composite connections to the adapter connecting to the computer? I am not sure. Is there any way to get rid of this constant buzzing?

  • Answer:

Paul R has a good point but it may be interference from a near by wireless device. trying moving it.

Could be ground hum, could be the plethora of electronic and consumer connections in between, could be RF interference. Check if your computer has an SPDIF or minijack input, do it that way, and yes, you will need to make sure that your input is set to the appropriate level, usually a reciever is line out, but check the handbook.
