A little help with a video camera?

A video I took on my camera wont upload, help?

  • I have a FujiFilm FinePix JZ300 camera which I have took many videos on before and uploaded them, with no problems. I can play the video on the camera just fine but when I try to upload it to my computer it keeps saying error, try again. I then tried just copying the file from the camera and then pasting it into my documents and it would paste but when I clicked it to play it nothing would happen. The program it opened up in said the file could not be read or is not playable. So then I thought maybe I just don't have enough room left on my computer? So why not try and upload it from my camera straight to YouTube. It still did not work, it said the video showed up as an error. The only information I can give that I think might contribute to the problem is that the video I took filled the time capacity that my camera gives for videos, which is like 5 minutes. I just don't understand what it is wrong with it because it plays just fine on my camera, so if anyone has any feedback I would appreciate it so much! Thanks.

  • Answer:

go into my computer and find your camera (when its plugged in) go into photos or where ever they are in your camera folder then copy and paste the video

Barring that use a usb card reader. You can copy / paste there as well usually with success.
