How do I get photos off of an internal memory when I have a lens error on Nikon s570?
-
I have a Nikon S570 and dropped it. Now I have a lens error. When I turn the camera on it just says lens error. I can't access the menu or anything on the camera. I tried the USB cable which I normally use to upload photos and it didn't work. I also tried the memory card and that didn't work. I assume the photos are on the internal memory since I can't get them off of the memory card. How can I access them when I can't get past the "lens error" message? I don't think I want to get it repaired because it will probably cost more than the camera did!

Answer:
If you had a memory card in it, the pix would be stored on the card, not the internal memory. Do a little more searching on the memory card. They'll be one or more levels down in the folders.
